Steve's 2013 team
To enable Lisa to keep her all-conquering team from last year together, the point limit this year has had to be set at a new high of 900 points. This has allowed Steve to make five changes to his Nightowlers team. He regains Mark Cavendish after his year with Sky and adds Peter Sagan, André Greipel, Vincenzo Nibali and Joaquin Rodriguez to his squad while retaining the services of Philippe Gilbert, Thor Hushovd, Allesandro Ballan and David Millar.

Lisa's 2013 team
For this season's line-up, Lisa has only to make one change to her Ready Steady Riders from last year, brining in the new Aussie young gun Richie Porte in place of the retired Robbie McEwan.

About the 2013 season
This year we will again be counting the Tour Down Under in Australia in January and then the Fantasy calendar will continue with the major European races starting at the end of February. As last year, during a stage race I'll only blog those stages where one of us scores points.
The basis of the Fantasy competition remains as described before and the next two posts will outline our team members for the coming season. The unusually imposing strength, at least on paper, of both teams should ensure a high-scoring shoot-out during the season.
