Thor Hushovd (SNO) won the uphill bunch sprint at the end of today's stage into Barcelona. For Lisa, Fabian Cancellara was tenth on the day and holds onto the overall lead going into the first mountain-top finish tomorrow. Mark Cavendish still wears the green jersey for Steve.

Thomas Voeckler (RSR) took the stage win today as the last remaining member of a breakaway. Steve's Mark Cavendish was third on the stage which was enough to keep him in green. Fabian Cancellara (RSR) held onto the yellow jersey for another day.

Alberto Contador (RSR)'s trade team won today's Team Time Trial stage. Bradley Wiggins and David Millar, both for Steve, were in the second-placed trade team, while the trade team of Andy Schleck (SNO) and Lisa's Fabian Cancellara placed third on the stage which was enough to keep the latter in yellow. There were no points awarded today in the green jersey competition, so Mark Cavendish (SNO) continues to lead that.

Mark Cavendish (SNO) took the win in a bunch sprint at the end of today's opening road stage to claim the green jersey. Thor Hushovd was fourth, also for Steve. Lisa's first rider home was Fabian Cancellara, 38th. There was no change to the overall positions today: Cancellara still leads but Alberto Contador (RSR) lost the polka-dot jersey.
