Our riders didn't trouble the scorers in the mountain time-trial which constituted today's penultimate stage. Indeed, Robbie McEwan (RSR) and Steve's riders Thomas Dekker and Stefan Schumacher failed to take the start today. Our sole remaining riders were thus Erik Zabel (SNO) who was 61st fastest on the day and Fabian Cancellara, 80th, for Lisa.

We did better in the Points competition where Mark Cavendish (SNO) finished fourth, one place ahead of Bettini (though both scored 106 points).
