Tour de France, overall

Alberto Contador (RSR) emerged the overall victor in this year's Grand Boucle with Andy Schleck second and Bradley Wiggins fourth, both for Steve. Carlos Sastre (SNO) finished seventeenth overall.

Steve's riders dominated the points competition, with Thor Hushovd first and Mark Cavendish second. Lisa's highest placed rider was Contador, ninth.

Contador was also third in the mountains competition, with Schleck fourth.

Mark Cavendish (SNO) completed his first full Tour in fine style with a convincing win on the Champs-Elysées, his sixth win in this year's race. Fabian Cancellara was Lisa's highest finisher in nineteenth place.

Tour de France, stage 20

Andy Schleck (SNO) and Alberto Contador (RSR) finished together in third and fourth places at the top of the Giant of Provence.

Barring a serious accident tomorrow, the result assures Contador of the overall victory ahead of Schleck. Bradley Wiggins still lies fourth overall for Steve, 37 seconds short of a podium place. Thor Hushovd (SNO) similarly looks to have the points jersey in the bag, ahead of Mark Cavendish, also for Steve, while Contador and Schleck fill third and fourth places in the mountains competition.

Tour de France, stage 19

Mark Cavendish (SNO) sprinted to his fifth stage win of this year's Tour today ahead of Thor Hushovd (also SNO). Lisa's highest placed rider was Alberto Contador, 24th.

The stage made little difference to the overall standings. Tomorrow's finish on Mount Ventoux may do more to shake things up!

Tour de France, stage 18

Alberto Contador and Fabian Cancellara filled the first two places of today's individual time trial stage for Lisa. David Millar (SNO) was fifth fastest on the day.

Contador's win keeps him in the yellow jersey ahead of Andy Schleck, second, Bradley Wiggins, fourth, and Carlos Sastre, fourteenth, for Steve.

Thor Hushovd wears the green jersey with Mark Cavendish second, also for Steve. Contador currently lies fifth in the mountains competition.

Alberto Contador (RSR)'s trade team won today's Team Time Trial stage. Bradley Wiggins and David Millar, both for Steve, were in the second-placed trade team, while the trade team of Andy Schleck (SNO) and Lisa's Fabian Cancellara placed third on the stage which was enough to keep the latter in yellow. There were no points awarded today in the green jersey competition, so Mark Cavendish (SNO) continues to lead that.
