Andy Schleck (SNO) and Alberto Contador (RSR) finished together in third and fourth places at the top of the Giant of Provence.
Barring a serious accident tomorrow, the result assures Contador of the overall victory ahead of Schleck. Bradley Wiggins still lies fourth overall for Steve, 37 seconds short of a podium place. Thor Hushovd (SNO) similarly looks to have the points jersey in the bag, ahead of Mark Cavendish, also for Steve, while Contador and Schleck fill third and fourth places in the mountains competition.
Scores: RSR=1, SNO=2
LeTour: RSR=57, SNO=71
Totals: RSR=335, SNO=388
