At the end of the final counting race in this year's season, Philippe Gilbert (SNO) won overall by just three seconds from Dan Martin (RSR). Had their positions been reversed, Lisa would have just snuck by Steve at the line but as it is, Steve held on to the lead by just sixteen points.
