Fred Wright (SNO) was in the six-man break that stayed away to the finish and took second place on the stage. Back in the peloton, Rafał Majka (RSR) finished 65th some six minutes back.
Majka hold onto nineteenth place overall as all the top GC men finished together. For Steve, Bauke Mollema is now 36th.
Peter Sagan (SNO) drops another place on the points classification, to ninth (now just one place ahead of Wright!) while Caleb Ewan drops to 37th for Lisa
