Julian Alaphilippe (RSR) slipped away from a select group to win alone. Some way back, Vincenzo Nibali (SNO) came home in fifteenth place.

Adam Yates (SNO) finished ninth overall with Julian Alaphilippe 36th for Lisa.


Sam Bennett (SNO took home the Green Jersey as winner of the points competition from Peter Sagan, also for Steve, second, Caleb Ewan (RSR) sixth and Alaphilippe seventh.

Adma Yates (SNO) could only finish 23rd fastest in today's penultimate time-trial stage. This drops him to ninth overall while, for Lisa, Julian Alaphilippe finished sixtieth and remains 26th on GC.


Sam Bennett (SNO) continues to defy Peter Sagan, also for Steve, at the top of the points classification but Caleb Ewan (RSR) and Alaphilipe both drop a place to sit and seventh.

Greg van Avermaet (RSR) finished fourth today. For Steve, Sam Bennett came home in eighth place.

Bennett continues to deny Peter Sagan (SNO) his customary Green Jersey with Caleb Ewan (RSR) fifth and Alaphilippe sixth on points.

Another successful breakaway meant that Adam Yates (SNO) was the first of our riders to finish today, down in twentieth place. Lisa's best placed rider was Julian Alaphilippe, 34th. Bauke Mollema (SNO) was a non-finisher today.


Yates inched up to seventh overall today while Alaphilippe now lies in 35th place.

No joy for our riders on today's stage as a break stayed away to the end. Julian Alaphilippe (RSR) finished eleventh with Peter Sagan (SNO) thirteenth.


No change in the top seventeen overall today so Adam Yates (SNO) is still eighth and Bauke Mollema, also for Steve, thirteenth. For Lisa, Greg van Avermaet moved up slightly to 33rd overall.

After the relegation of Peter Sagan (SNO), Sam Bennett, also for Steve, was declared to have finished second behind Caleb Ewan (RSR).


Again, no change at the top the GC today: Adam Yates (SNO) remains eighth with Bauke Mollema, also for Steve, thirteenth. Greg van Avermaet, down in 36th place is now Lisa's highest placed rider overall.

Bennett increased his lead over Sgan in the Green Jersey competition where Ewan is now up to fourth on points.

Sam Bennett (SNO) won today as the race resumed after the first rest day. Caleb Ewan (RSR) finished second with Peter Sagan third for Steve.


The sprint finish had almost no impact on the overall classification, so Adam Yates (SNO) is still eighth with Bauke Mollema, also for Steve, thirteenth. Julian Alaphilippe is Lisa's highest placed rider overall in 41st place.

Bennett and Sagan swap places at the top of the points competition and Caleb Ewan (RSR) is now sixth on points with Alaphilippe eighth.

Adam Yates (SNO)'s challenge for the overall lead collapsed today and he finished ninth, well off the pace. Indeed Bauke Molema, also for Steve, finished ahead of him in sixth place. Lisa's three riders did even worse, all finishing today in the goupetto.


Yates is now eighth overall with Mollema thirteenth while Julian Alaphilippe (RSR) is down in 38th place.

Again, no change today at the top of the points competition with Peter Sagan (SNO) in green and Sam Bennett, also for Steve, second. Alaphilippe is seventh on points with Caleb Ewan, also for Lisa, eighth.

Sam Bennett (SNO) claimed third place in today's slightly uphill sprint finish with Peter Sagan, also for Steve, fourth. Caleb Ewan (RSR) finished eighth.


Adam Yates (SNO) was handed the overall lead due to a time penalty inflicted on Julian Alaphilippe (RSR) for a minor infringement which drops him to sixteenth overall. Bauke Mollema (SNO) remains eleventh on GC.

Bennett's heading Sagan at the intermediate sprint and again at the finish puts him in the green jersey as Sagan drops to second on points. Ewan moves up to fourth in that competition.
