Caleb Ewan (RSR) pulled off his second sprint win of the race today. For Steve, Peter Sagan was back in fourteenth place on the stage.
No big impact on the overall standings today so Simon Yates and Vincenzo Nibali (both SNO) still lie tenth and seventeenth respectively while, for Lisa, James Knox drops yet one more place to 48th.
Ewan now leads the points competition and so will wear the ciclamino jersey tomorrow. Sagan drops to sixth and Fernando Gaviria (RSR) is now up to seventh.
After another relatively flat stage today, Bauke Mollema (SNO) is still sixteenth in the mountains classification.
