Guillame Martin (RSR) made it into the break that stayed away to the end today and finished the stage in twelfth place. For Steve, Arnaud Démare finished 88th.
Martin's place in the successful break shoots him up the general classification to second overall while Démare drops back to 128th.
Démare remains third in the points competition and Martin is now 77th.
Rafał Majka (RSR) drops to 26th on the mountains classification.
