Arnaud Démare (SNO) got himself into the break of the day and finished the stage in fifteenth place. For Lisa, Guillame Martin finished 28th.
Martin holds onto second place overall for one more day as Démare's efforts today lift him to 97th.
Démare remains seventh on points with Martin down to 80th.
Rafał Majka (RSR) drops to 33rd in the mountains competition where, bizarrely, Démare enters at 41st having scored a single point today on the first categorised climb of the stage.
