Mark Cavendish (SNO) took a convincing win in the traditional sprinters' finish at Bordeaux. Alessaandro Petacchi and Robbie McEwan were third and fourth for Lisa.
Alberto Contador (RSR) finished the stage safely in Yellow.
Third place was enough for Petacchi to once more reclaim the green jersey but the battle with Thor Hushovd for Steve (and possibly Cavendish too) will continue to the Champs Elysées.

Tour de France, stage 17
On the final mountain of this year's Tour, the fearsome Pyrenean Col du Tourmalet, Andy Schleck (SNO) took the stage win ahead of Alberto Contador for Lisa. With just tomorrow's sprint to Bordeaux, Saturday's time trial and the final procession into Paris to go, Contador's hold on the Yellow Jersey seems impregnable, barring disaster, even though he leads Schleck by just 8 seconds.
Thor Hushovd (SNO) still holds the Green Jersey but, with just four points between him and Lisa's Alessandro Petacchi in second, this battle will continue to the finish line on the Champs Elysées on Sunday.
Scores: RSR=4, SNO=6
LeTour: RSR=69, SNO=55
