Alberto Contador (RSR) lost out in the two-man sprint at the end of today's stage but still edged 10s nearer to Andy Schleck in the overall standings. Schleck, fifth today for Steve, remains in yellow but Thor Hushovd (SNO) used the intermediate sprints to take back the green jersey from Lisa's Alessandro Petacchi.
