As two days ago, Mark Cavendish (SNO) took the win in the sprint at the end of today's stage with Alessandro Petacchi third for Lisa. Alberto Contador (RSR) continues to wear the leader's pink jersey.
In the points competition, Petacchi leads from Contador and Cavendish while Contador remains second in the mountains classification.
