In the Team Time Trial stage, the trade team of Greg van Avermaet (RSR) were fastest with the team of Julian Alaphilippe, also for Lisa, and Philippe Gilbert (SNO) third fastest. The team of Adam Yates, also for Steve, were fourth best on the day.
Van Avermaet now leads the race overall with Gilbert fourth, Alaphilippe sixth and Rafał Majka (RSR) eleventh.
Peter Sagan (SNO) keeps the green jersey as the leader on points from Fernando Gaviria (RSR) second, André Greipel (SNO) fifth and Marcel Kittel (RSR) seventh.
