Dan Martin (RSR) took second place on the stage today.
Alberto Contador (RSR) remains sixth overall with Vincenzo Nibali (SNO) falling back place to eleventh. Martin's performance lifts him up to sixteenth on the general classification.
At the intermediate sprint, Peter Sagan (SNO) took back the green jersey from André Greipel, also for Steve, who drops to second. Mark Cavendish (SNO) drops to fourth on points.
Richie Porte (RSR) remains second in the mountains competition as Martin moves up to sixth.
