Peter Sagan (SNO) grabbed third place on today's cobbled stage and moves up to fifth overall while Alberto Contador (RSR) remains eighth in the general classification with Vincenzo Nibali still thirteenth and Joaquim Rodríguez still eighteenth, both for Steve.
André Greipel (SNO) and Sagan remain first and second in the points competition while Mark Cavendish, also for Steve, drops to fifth.
Rodríguez still leads the mountains classification.
Fabian Cancellara (RSR) was unable to take the start today due to injuries he received in a crash yesterday.
