Today was the team time trial. The team of Richie Porte (RSR) were second fastest on the stage, that of Alex Dowsett (SNO) third fastest and that of Alberto Contador (RSR), Michael Rogers, also for Lisa, and Peter Sagan (SNO) fourth fastest.
Sagan slips two places to fourth overall as Contador improved to fifth in the general classification. Vincenzo Nibali (SNO) remains thirteenth and Joaquim RodrÃguez drops to eighteenth, also for Steve.
The points and mountains competitions were unaffected by today's result.
