Tour de France, stage 5

André Greipel (SNO) won the fiercely contested bunch sprint today with Peter Sagan, also for Steve, second and Mark Cavendish (SNO) third.

Sagan moves up to fourth place overall while Alberto Contador (RSR) remains eighth and Vincenzo Nibali is still thirteenth and Joaquim Rodríguez still eighteenth for Steve.

In the points competition, Greipel and Sagan remain first and second while Cavendish moves up to fifth.

Rodríguez still heads the mountains classification.
