Dan Martin (RSR) took second place on the uphill finish with Peter Sagan (SNO) fourth.
Sagan remains second overall and Alberto Contador (RSR) is still seventh on the general classification while Vincenzo Nibal (SNO) drops a place to thirteenth with Joaquin Rodríguez seventeenth for Steve.
Sagan takes over the green jersey as leader in the points competition from André Greipel (SNO) who drops to second. Mark Cavendish is still third on points for Steve.
Rodríguez is still second in the mountains classification.
