Bauke Mollema (SNO) inserted himself into the big break of the day, which stayed away to the end of the stage, finally finishing fourth. The main bunch rolled in some nine minutes down and Rui Costa, 53rd, was the first of Lisa's riders home. Caleb Ewan (RSR) did not start the stage today, withdrawing to prepare for the Tour de France in July.
Overall, Guillaume Martin (RSR) holds onto sixth place but Vincenzo Nibali (SNO) drops a place to fourteenth.
Arnaud Démare (SNO) continues to lead the points competition but Fernando Gaviria (RSR) is now second with Mark Cavendish (SNO) down to third.
Mollema moves up to fifth in the mountains competition.
