With the Alps behind us today's stage ended in a bunch sprint. Peter Sagan (SNO) still can't buy a stage win and finished third with André Greipel, also for Steve, fourth.
No changes at the top of the general classification after today's stage: Vincenzo Nibali (SNO) still leads, with Richie Porte (SNO) at fifteenth overall.
Sagan still leads the points competition by a country mile with Marcel Kittel (RSR) still fourth. After finishing fourth today, Greipel inches up to sixth as Nibali drops back to seventh.
No mountains competition points on offer today so Joaquim Rodriguez (SNO) still wears the polka dots with Nibali third and Thomas Voeckler (RSR) seventh.
Scores: RSR=0, SNO=3
LeTour: RSR=33, SNO=66
Totals: RSR=353, SNO=335
