Vincenzo Nibali (SNO) finished third on a dramatic day over the cobbles. Peter Sagan, also for Steve, was fourth.
Nibali holds onto the yellow jersey but Sagan drops back to third. Fabian Cancellara (RSR) moves up to fifth overall with Richie Porte, also for Lisa, eighth.
Sagan keeps the green jersey ahead of Marcel Kittel (RSR) and Nibali is now fifth on points.
Thomas Voeckler (RSR) remains fifth in the mountains competition.
