Alberto Contador (RSR) finished second on the first mountain-top finish of this year's race with Vincenzo Nibali (SNO) third and Richie Porte, also for Lisa, third.
Nibali keeps the yellow jersey, Porte moves up to third overall and Contador jumps up to sixth.
Peter Segan (SNO) keeps the green jersey and Marcel Kittel (RSR) remains third on points with André Greipel, also for Steve, still sixth while Nibali moves up to seventh.
Thomas Voeckler (RSR) drops to eighth place in the mountains competition.
