The breakaway was allowed to stay away to the end today. Almost five minutes later, Bauke Mollema (SNO) finished 23rd with Rafał Majka (RSR) another minute back in 38th.
Overall, Vincenzo Nibali (SNO) remains second with Mollema still fifth but Majka slips a place to seventh.
Nibali is still eleventh on points, where Majka is now 25th, and is twelfth in the mountains competition, to Majka's 25th.
