Bauke Mollema (SNO) was third fastest in today's time trial with Vincenzo Nibali, also for Steve, fourth. Rafał Majka (RSR) was fourteenth fastest.

Nibali improves to eleventh place overall with Mollema twelfth and Majka eighteenth.

Caleb Ewan (RSR) remains third on points while Nibali improves (if that's the word) to nineteenth.

Today's hilly parcours means Mollema leaps from nowhere into seventh place in the mountains competition where Majka is now 25th.
