As a ten-man breakaway stayed away to mop up the stage and, briefly, dominate the overall standings, Vincenzo Nibali (SNO) finished 49th today along with the main contenders and with Rafał Majka (RSR) in 52nd place.
Overall, then, Nibali is pushed down to fourteenth with Majka now seventeenth.
Fernando Gaviria (RSR) remains second on the points competition with Caleb Ewan, also for Lisa, fourth. For Steve, Nibali is down in twentieth place.
In the mountains competition, Majka drops to sixteenth.
